Festival Announcement: Revel in the Meadow 2023 – Watkins Glen Summer Jam Revival on Saturday, August 19, at the Dover Elks Event Grounds on Route 108 in Dover, NH. It’s been four long years since we last hosted this magical event, and we’re bringing it back with bottle rockets and Roman candles! The original 1973 Summer Jam was the largest concert gathering ever (over 650k people).
We’re celebrating its 50th anniversary with music by the Grateful Dead (performed by Stone Dead), the Allman Brothers Band (performed by Idlewild), and The Band (performed by the Seacoast Last Waltz Band). For good measure, Gerard / Truffle will open the show with a set of Little Feat tunes.
This event will feature on-site RV and tent camping (limited), over 50 artisans, a second stage with student and local acts, the first-ever Revel Adult Olympics (more on that later), kids activities, adult bevs, and delicious food. Early bird tickets are on sale now, but you better hurry, as they go up $10 on April 16. With ticket prices starting at $30, it’s a true bargain for a festival of this stature.
