Stefanie King has survived trauma and possesses the courage to write poetry about it. Her work coalesces the pain of loss and the enduring hope of resilience. Informed by her work as a doctoral researcher in trauma-sensitive education, Stefanie is committed to raising resilient sons, serving her community as a school board member, and inspiring others to find the good.
Gordon Lang teaches high school English in New Hampshire and raises Irish wolfhounds, gypsy horses, and other partially domesticated animals. He hosted the monthly Poets in the Attic readings for 15 years and has featured at Split This Rock and at various readings around northern New England. His work is anthologized in Poet Showcase: An Anthology of New Hampshire Poets, This Assignment Is So Gay, and the 2008 and 2010 editions of The Poets’ Guide to New Hampshire. His latest book, Graphic Sax & Violins, is now available and his first book, No Match for a Scarecrow, is in its second edition.
