SUMMARY:Plein Air Watercolor Painting with Artist Doris Rice
DESCRIPTION:Enjoy the expert instruction of Artist Doris Rice in a gorgeous garden setting. She will give a demonstration on plein air equipment and procedure\, and then invite you to work alongside her with personalized instruction. All levels of experience are welcome. Bring basic supplies: watercolor paints/palette\, brushes\, paper towels\, masking tape\, a watercolor sketch pad or notebook\, and a water dish. Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch from home. \nAbout the Teacher\nDoris Rice is an acclaimed international watercolor painter and teacher who lives on the Seacoast of New Hampshire and paints on location throughout North America and Europe. Her students range from total beginners to accomplished painters who exhibit and sell their work. They share is a love of nature\, a passion for color\, and an appreciation of Doris’ warm\, friendly\, encouraging and relaxed teaching style. Her paintings have been sold through the Seacoast Art Association in Exeter\, the Kennedy Gallery in Portsmouth\, Art & Frames by Wood Gallery in Coronado\, California\, and Lightship Editions and Glimmerglass online galleries. See samples of her work below. \nTickets\n$100 for nonmembers and $75 for members. Intended for adults and older teens. Please let us know 48 hours in advance of the class start time\, or tickets will not be reimbursed. Class is limited to 11.
