On Jan. 25, Portsmouth Music and Arts Center (PMAC) is going to see how many containers of peanut butter can be collected and assembled into the Haas Family Gallery at PMAC to benefit Gather NH!
Peanut butter is in high demand, as it is a protein food, which Gather NH often includes in their “Meals 4 Kids” distributions (currently over 400 children per vacation week), as well as, offer it in their pantry to their members. The goal at Gather NH is to provide “healthier” foods and education in preparation meals. PMAC is asking for people to drop off their jars of peanut butter at PMAC to help fill Haas Hall and help Gather NH reach their goal!
PMAC executive director Russ Grazier shares, “This is an effort that is close to our hearts at PMAC: supporting children in our community. Knowing that there are hundreds of children living in food insecure homes in the Seacoast makes this day truly important. Help PMAC ensure that Gather does not run out of peanut butter for children in need.”
