The New Castle Congregational Church Guild Juried Arts & Crafts Fair is held on the grounds of the New Castle Congregational Church in historic and beautiful New Castle, NH. Artists and crafters from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine will be offering art works in oils, watercolors, fiber arts, photography, acrylics and other media as well as jewelry, crafted wood items, handsome bags, ceramics, and other items. Some of New England’s finest artists and craftspeople will be participating. The Guild will be selling Strawberry Shortcake and holding a raffle as well as our Famous Cookbook. Proceeds from the fair are donated to local seacoast charities.
Make a day of it! After the fair, go to Great Island Common and the New Castle beach for a breath of fresh sea air and views of the Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse, Whaleback Lighthouse, the historic Wood Island Lifesaving Station and the Isles of Shoals. Enjoy a walk or bike ride through the historic New Castle streets.
