The Loading Dock Concert Series at 3S Artspace is held Fridays in July and August from 7 – 9pm. Certain dates include special early-evening performances by PMAC students, beginning at 5:30pm. With a top notch lineup of local acts for the season, this is another free, family friendly event (donations of $5-$10 are appreciated!). The concerts are held outside in our Loading Dock, so bring your lawn chairs or blankets to experience summer sunsets set to music. And yes, there will be bar service!
About the PMAC Rock and Beyond Workshop:
The next generation of rock bands from the Portsmouth Music and Arts Center take the stage! PMAC’s Teen Rock and Beyond ensembles bring us original music in their Summer Camp show at 3S Artspace.
PMAC’s Rock and Beyond program, led by Nick Phaneuf and PMAC’s Rock Teaching Artists, provides students the opportunity to work first hand with leading musicians and educators in the seacoast.
In the Rock and Beyond Workshop ( a weeklong program), students learn how to run a band, work creatively and productively with their peers, write their own music and lyrics, and create and work towards an end goal. Open to all instruments, these ensembles provide a unique experience for all young musicians! With programs that run year round, keep your eyes open for fall and spring performances from the Seacoast’s up and coming young musicians.
