Linda Pouliot & Friends with Linda (vocals), C J Poole (bass), and Charlie Jennison (piano), will perform at the fourth “Jazz in the Streets,” a free event sponsored by the Seacoast Jazz Society on Saturday, August 13, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. outside on the Vaughan Mall Stage in downtown Portsmouth.
Stroll up to Market Square in front of the North Church, and find Giorgio Albanese on jazz and accordion, also performing from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
In addition to “Jazz in the Streets” the Seacoast Jazz Society, a nonprofit organization, also sponsors an annual jazz festival, a spring lecture series, and special events as part of its mission to engage the community, support local musicians, and provide scholarships for young artists.
