Giorgio Albanese (jazz and accordion) & Friends will perform at the fourth “Jazz in the Streets,” a free event sponsored by the Seacoast Jazz Society on Saturday, August 13, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in front of the North Church in Market Square, downtown Portsmouth.
Stroll to the Vaughan Mall Stage and find Linda Pouliot & Friends with Linda (vocals), C J Poole (bass), and Charlie Jennison (piano), also performing from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
In addition to “Jazz in the Streets” the Seacoast Jazz Society, a nonprofit organization, also sponsors an annual jazz festival, a spring lecture series, and special events as part of its mission to engage the community, support local musicians, and provide scholarships for young artists.
