Gold Plated Door started as a band playing classic Gram Parsons-Emmylou Harris music but has since expanded to broader alt country/roots/Americana. We are unique in combining steels guitars which complement our acoustic guitars, fiddle, electric bass, and drums. We strive to capture the “original” country rock sound of the 1960s. Gold Plated Door is Cecil Abels, Lindsay Lassonde, David Talmage, Dan Beller McKenna, John (Hal) Halstead, Bruce Derr, and Jim Rudolf.
