Applecrest Farm Orchards and Gather are hosting the 2nd annual Gather to End Hunger Festival. This community music festival will be held at Applecrest Farm in Hampton Falls, NH on August 11th, 2018 from 12pm-6pm. All proceeds will benefit Gather. Bring friends and the whole family and enjoy a fun-filled day with food, music and entertainment all while benefiting a great cause.
This community event features live music by the Soggy Po’ Boys, Hayley Jane and the Primates, and the Ryan Montbleau Band. There will be delicious food and drinks by Applecrest as well as craft beer and wine available. Blue Mermaid, Lexie’s Joint, El Rodeo and Kona Ice will be there with their food trucks to provide delicious food for the event. There will be a Kid Zone with a bouncy house, face painting and other fun activities for children of all ages.
Gather is a local non-profit organization that works to alleviate hunger in the greater seacoast community. Based in Portsmouth, NH, Gather serves people experiencing hunger in Portsmouth, Greenland, Rye, Hampton, North Hampton, Hampton Falls, New Castle, Newington, Seabrook and Kittery, Maine. They focus on providing nutritious food through innovative distribution programs and their Pantry Market, while offering nutrition education and recipes for healthy living. Their programs include Meals 4 Kids, Meals 4 Seniors, Farm Shares 4 Families and a food repurposing program created to reduce food waste. In addition, Gather works with community partners to address the root causes of hunger with the hope of ending local hunger through collaboration and leadership.
The Gather to End Hunger Festival will be held from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Applecrest Farm Orchards located at 133 Exeter Road, Hampton Falls, NH.
Advanced tickets for adults are $25 and $30 the day of the festival. Tickets for children age 4 to 12 are $5. Children 3 years and younger are admitted free of charge. Tickets will also be available at the gate.
