DESCRIPTION:Get ready!! \n\nNow… are you ready for the 2026 Exeter UFO Festival? Planning is underway\, and we’re excited for the 2026 Exeter UFO Festival\, which will take place on Saturday\, September 5th\, and Sunday\, September 6th. \nThis year marks the 65th Anniversary of the Barney and Betty Hill abduction in 1961. We are please to present as our keynote speaker Kathleen Marden\, the Hills’ niece\, trustee of their estate\, and family archivist — as well as pioneer investigator\, social researcher\, and scholar. \nNote that all profits from the Exeter UFO Festival will benefit deserving children and families served by Seacoast charities and organizations. \nAs always\, the Exeter UFO Festival coincides with Labor Day weekend and the anniversary of the famous “Incident at Exeter.” \nOn September 3rd\, 1965\, 18-year-old Norman Muscarello reported to the Exeter Police his sighting of an unidentified flying object behind a barn in Kensington. As the Exeter police investigated the site\, they too witnessed the object hovering where Muscarello had seen it. Headlines across the nation covered the story\, and the rest became history as police and investigators nationwide sought to determine what young Muscarello observed that night. \nThe Exeter Area Kiwanis Club annually sponsors a celebration of this event: The Exeter UFO Festival. Events\, activities\, and our speaker venue are centered in downtown Exeter NH. \nThe Exeter Kiwanis Club\, producers of the annual Exeter UFO Festival\, are planning a range of fun and exciting activities: a full slate of well-known speakers\, children’s events (free)\, merchandise\, trolley rides\, alien dancers and hula hoop demonstration\, and much more! \nLocal merchants and restaurants throughout Exeter will also join in on the fun. \nStay tuned to this website and our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ExeterUFOFestival for complete and up-to-date details. \nWe hope to see you at the  Exeter UFO Festival!
