SUMMARY:Double Vision: Seacoast Scenes² at the Kennedy Gallery
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for an Opening Reception of Double Vision: Seacoast Scenes² on Friday\, June 5th\, from 5-8 pm or stop in during the month of June to enjoy the work. \nDouble Vision is a collaboration between John Dunkle\, photographer\, and Lisa Young\, painter. There are 52 pieces in the show and each one celebrates the quiet beauty of our New Hampshire Seacoast. Their works will hang in the Kennedy Gallery throughout the month of June. \nWhile preparing for this exhibition\, Lisa poured over John’s vast photography archive searching for images that evoke the same sense of calm and connection she experiences while painting outdoors. \nThe result brings these shared places to life through two different artistic mediums. John’s photography captures fleeting moments of atmosphere and light\, while Lisa’s paintings interpret those scenes through color\, texture\, and gesture. \nTogether\, the work becomes a conversation between observation and interpretation\, photography and paint\, two artists seeing the same landscape through different lenses. \nThe works are on exhibit June 5 – 27\, 2026. \n*John and Lisa’s works are not on view at the gallery yet\, but are for sale. \nIf you are interested in purchasing one of them please give the gallery a call\, send us an email or visit our website and send us an inquiry.
