PORTSMOUTH – The New Hampshire Art Association is offering the second in a series of workshops to help artists learn the business side of art. These will take place during Zoom meetings online.
“Demystifying the Business of Art,” taught by Attorney Kimberly A.W, Peaslee, an Intellectual Property Attorney with the Concord, New Hampshire law firm Davis & Bujold, will be presented on Thursday, June 4, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. Space size is limited to 12 participants and those pre-registered by June 2 will receive a Zoom link June 3.
This workshop targets artists who need information for legal and business matters as it relates to their work as artists. The workshop will offer artists important advice on how to manage matters such as contracts, copyright registration and the licensing of their work.
“Hands-On Social Media 1 for Beginners,” presented by Rebecca L. Torres, Communications Coordinator at the Harvard Art Museums in Boston, will be held Tuesday, June 9 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
“Marketing Yourself as an Artist” will be presented by Torres on Tuesday, June 16, from 4 to 6 p.m.
“Hands-On Social Media Marketing 2” will be presented by Torres on Tuesday, June 23 from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
