DESCRIPTION:Beginner swing dancing is fun\, active\, and social! Charleston is a kicky sub-genre of swing dancing and Lindy Hop that started in the 1930s. It is danced to big band and traditional jazz music. Join us to learn the basics of this high-energy dance for eight progressive classes! You’ll be on the dance floor in no time. \nWednesdays 9/3 – 10/22\n6 – 7 pm\, with open practice time until 7:15 pm \nAlso available on Zoom. If you miss a class\, you can watch it online later. \nStudents (high school and full-time undergrads) enter “STUDENT” for 50% off. \nEarly registration discounts are also available.
