Join Eliot artist Gordon Carlisle for an open studio of his artwork. After a 27 year tenure at Portsmouth’s Button Factory, Carlisle moved into a converted six-car garage in the fall of 2010. This is the first time he has hosted an exhibition of his work in this new location. Carlisle’s wacky collages always made his third floor studio at the Button Factory Open House a popular destination. Known for his humor as well as artistic prowess, his open studio event will showcase a wide variety of artwork, including not only his collages, but oils, acrylics and watercolors as well as his unique, re-purposed Paint-By-Number paintings. All are priced to sell. Just look for the brightly colored sandwich board in front of his house at 111 Fore Road.
