DESCRIPTION:Don’t know where to start telling your life story? Join experienced writing teacher Carol Spindel and write a micro- memoir focused on a single category of objects or experiences. All about my life according to the houses I lived in or the cars I drove. My life told through my most memorable conversations or the photographs never taken. My life through hats\, sports events\, gardens\, video games\, people I will never see again. You know what has mattered to you\, but you can only pick one! \nThis short workshop is for all writers and writing teachers — from just starting out to very experienced. If you love stories and playing with words\, join us to craft a personal essay in a supportive community that doesn’t take itself too seriously. You’ll go home with a bare bones draft and some helpful guidelines for finishing on your own. \nJOIN US Wednesday\, August 27 OR Sunday\, September 7. \nA discount is offered for repeat participants on the 7th. \n18 years and older. No writing experience necessary. \n6 people maximum per workshop \nWednesday\, August 27: 2-5 pm \nSunday\, September 7: 1-4 pm \n$85 per workshop; $75 if you sign up for both days
