DESCRIPTION:The Active Retirement Association (ARA) announces a FREE General Meeting and presentation based on the book “ADAK – The Rescue of Alfa Foxtrot 586” by Andrew Jampoler. You’re invited to come and hear the harrowing first person account of a reconnaissance aircraft on a sensitive 1978 Cold War mission that crashed into the Bering Sea by Ed Caylor\, a 26-year-old Navy Lieutenant at the time. The event will take place on Monday\, October 19\, 2026\, 2:00 – 3:30 PM at the Durham Evangelical Church\, 114 Dover Road (Route 108)\, Durham\, NH. \nThis FREE meeting is open to the public; registration is not required. Light refreshments will be served – bring a friend! Cash donations for area food pantries will be gratefully accepted. Come to listen\, socialize\, and learn about the ARA’s expansive programs and activities for Seacoast residents ages 50 and up\, whether retired or not.
