Dover is situated between the Bellamy and Cochecho Rivers in the center of the Seacoast region of New Hampshire. Dover is convenient to New Hampshire and Maine lakes and beaches, is about an hour by highway from Boston, Massachusetts, and Portland, Maine, and is less than an hour from the state’s capital city of Concord.
