RPM 2015 draws nigh

Music

The 10th annual RPM Challenge is nearly upon us. The event, conceived in Portsmouth by The Wire newspaper, challenges musicians around the globe to write and record an album of at least 10 songs or 35 minutes of original music in the 28 days of February. Since launching in 2006, RPM has compelled more than 8,000 bands from around the world to sign up. The completed albums are unveiled with a Global Listening Party, which this year will take place on Saturday, March 28, at Portsmouth’s soon-to-open 3S Artspace. To register for the 2015 challenge, get more information, and tap into the international RPM community, visit rpmchallenge.com.
