Paranormal? jcnhwildcat from Newmarket The movie was honestly less about paranormal activity and more about demonic activity & possession. Paranormal happenings are generally not demonically oriented. The film had its moments never-the-less. A better movie adaptation for this topic might be based on the book "Satan's Harvest."
Good dumb fun! Not scary but I liked it. Mary from Raymond I went to a matinee $5.50 show and I got to see a silly good dumb fun Halloween movie. Why the dissing? It is just a goofy but entertaining horror film. Just don't pay more than 7 bucks to see it (although I would not pay more than 7 bucks to see any movie). Hell real life is scarier than any movie, just read the news.
What a bunch of suckers.... Tony from Dover we all were to fall for the hype for this garbage. A few moments that make you jump is about all you get. My wife says that I am naive and I just proved it to her by paying my $9. Having your kids drop pots and pans when you are not expecting it will give you the same result.
Very scary.... Jess from Rye to think that someone finds this "terrifying"
Anonymous The most terrifying film i have ever seen!!!
Dont believe the Hype dellis203 from Somersworth OK, I just watched this movie and I must say that this was one movie that was not scary at all, all the hype was just trying to sell tickets. THATS ALL. It was horrible, I could of made a better movie with my camcorder. Spending 10 dollars on this is scarier than seeing the actual movie.
Am I scared yet? Frankie Just not that good.
Brilliant promoting of this film but... Tony from Dover it was far from the hype. I have read sooo many reviews of people that "have not slept for a week". You either have to be afraid of your own shadow or about 11 years old. I did enjoy this low budget nauseating little film, but not to the degree we had expected. Its a renter!
VERY scary! bbkmom from Barrington Great movie, and very scary. I don't scream out loud in a movie very often but I did a few times during this one. It is truly frightening! Hard to find a good scary movie these days and this one delivers. Definitely worth the $10. In fact, our theater was jam packed so you should try to buy online before going.
Did not meet my expectations Mad Max from Nottingham I think the overall hype was a little misleading. The "spook factor" was marginal at best.
Pure Terror Steve from Exeter before last night i have never been terrified of a movie. i have never been scared by one and the hairs on my neck never stood on end. that all changed last night. without a doubt it is THE most terrifying movie i have ever seen. do NOT bring children to this. it is rated R simply for language but i went and the woman next to me brought her young daughter with her and she left half-way through. for a movie that was made with a budget of only $15,000 this movie delivers and it leaves nothing out. it plays on the fear that people have of what goes bump in the night and then some.
