The Seacoast Mavericks are a non-profit, collegiate wood bat summer baseball team that competes in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL). Our 30 player roster consists primarily of New England athletes currently playing college baseball at the Division 1, 2, or 3 levels. These players will be under the watchful eye of professional baseball scouts with the hope of being selected in Major League Baseballs amateur draft. The Mavericks have claimed Portsmouth as their home!
Come watch the Mavericks play at Leary Field. With its iconic wood grandstand reminiscent of classic old-time baseball, Leary Field has a rich history and tradition for hosting the Seacoast areas top athletes. Originally named South Playground, it was home to the Portsmouth Baseball Club and the Atlantic Corporation in the late 1800s.
