The Rochester Opera House celebrated its Centennial Birthday in May 2008. The only theatre of its kind in existence today, the historical, cultural, educational and economic value of the Rochester Opera House is of unparalleled significance to the region.
The Rochester Opera House is a non-profit performing arts organization. Its mission is to entertain, stimulate and educate audiences of all ages through a variety of high quality artistic programming; and to preserve the historic Opera House as a venue and cultural center for the community. It is dedicated to improving the quality of life and the economic vitality of the greater Rochester, NH region.
