The Music Hall, constructed in 1878, is one of the oldest continuously operating concert halls in the United States and the second-oldest in New England. Over the years it was the site of vaudeville performances and silent film showings, and performers have ranged from Mark Twain to Wynton Marsalis and David Crosby; ti Vaudeville acts with elephants and RENT the musical; to violinist Joshua Bell.

Today The Music Hall continues to offers an annual line-up of world-class performing artists and movies on the big screen.
