Celtic Music Concert & CD Release Party

Kittery Art Association
8 Coleman Avenue
Kittery, NH 03905
United States

Celtic whistle and flute player Sarah Bauhan will celebrate the release of her newest CD, Elmwood Station, in a concert and reception on Sunday afternoon, November 19, at 3:30pm in the upstairs gallery at the Kittery Art Association. She will be joined by a host of friends whose expert musicianship and sublime vocals give depth and texture to this fine album, including instrumentalists David Surette on guitar, mandolin, and bouzouki, Kent Allyn on piano and bass, Jane and Russell Orzechowski on violin, Francis Orzechowski on piano, and vocalists Susie Burke and Chloe Green.

Elmwood Station includes traditional music from Ireland, Scotland, Shetland, England, French Canada, Sweden, and New England, as well as original compositions that capture the sometimes buoyant, often haunting spirit of Celtic music.
