Description: Opened in the Spring of 2010, Mombo's dining experience is delightful, offering creative cuisine with international influences, warm hospitality and unparalleled service in one of Portsmouth's historic Strawbery Banke landmarks. Walk under the wood-beamed ceiling and wrought-iron chandeliers to feel the relaxed elegance of the space. Sit in the fireplace lounge, at the open kitchen bar, in one of the comfy banquettes or even next to the bubbling patio fountain in the rear courtyard to enjoy the delightful made-from-scratch dishes using fresh, local and honest ingredients.

Whether it the chef's charcuterie platter, the seared fois gras or our signature lobster bisque that you start your meal with, we want to make you feel as if you have escaped from everyday stresses and leave wanting to visit again and again.

SBM writes "In partnership with the New Hampshire Liquor & Wine Outlets, Strawbery Banke Museum's largest fundraiser, Vintage & Vine returns to Puddle Dock in 2010 with star chefs grilling on-site, hundreds of wines throughout the museum's historic houses available for tasting and ordering at a discount, the band Truffle (Electric) playing under a tent along with locally made cider, a bonfire and so much more. To be held Saturday, September 11th from 5-8 pm, this promises to be the must-attend Seacoast event of the summer season."
