A night of local comedy and concert, Welcome to 39, is set for Friday, Dec. 19, at 1130ft Studio in Rollinsford, from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
The music acts include Dan Blakeslee, recently named Folk Artist of the Year at the Boston Music Awards, and a rare solo performance from Adam McGrath of Boston’s Cave In. Also performing are Old Saw, from Kittery; Kick the Ladder, of Exeter; Matt Shipman and Erica Brown, of Portland; and Funbridge, of Burlington, Vt.
The free event also features stand-up comedy by local playwright and actor G. Matthew Gaskell, of Sharp Dressed Men and Darwin’s Waiting Room, as well as Scott David Chase and Caitlin Wrobel.
It’s all presented by Towing Jehovah Productions, an artist collective. The recording studio is in the Lower Mill at Salmon Falls at 3 Front St., Rollinsford. —Chloe Kanner
