| Completely renovated in 2008, this 20,000 sq. ft. building houses the new Children's Museum of New Hampshire. Formerly the Children's Museum of Portsmouth, the museum has a new name and location on the banks of the Cocheco River, surrounded by Henry Law Park. A gateway to the city’s future downtown waterfront development, the museum features hands-on interactive exhibits making learning fascinating for children.
Directions: Spaulding Turnpike heading North. Take exit 7 at the Burger King. Go right at end of exit ramp, following Central Avenue into downtown Dover. Take a right at main downtown intersection and an immediate right again onto Henry Law Avenue. |
