West End Guide
Portsmouth's West End, aka Islington Street, has seen a explosion of business activity over the past couple years. Once the area was known for Hannaford's supermarket, The Button Factor and few businesses like Tony's Radio and TV. Nowadays it houses more than 100 retail stores, service businesses and small offices, from beer sellers to yoga studios. Recognizing the change, PortsmouthNH.com has added a guide to the neighborhood. See www.portsmouthnh.com/west_end/.
